Another help my coil is giving me jip thread...

Soooooo.

My evod glass and evodd vv that i got two weeks ago have done me the world of good. Cut down to one stinkie on a morning from 20. The aim was by next payday to cut completely, and treat myself to some new bits on payday (including new coils)

Being a typical Jack i rush into everything like a bull in a china shop.

I forgot to order some new coils when i ordered my kit and this evod glass coil is nearly (probably is) burnt i think. I have been cleaning it and running under tap and dry burning to clear residue but two weeks of use have taken its toll.

I do have a vision eternity and a pro tank 2, really like both of them but the eternity i have to keep refilling and the pt2 doesnt nothing but gurgle sporadically (its usable but plays havoc with my ocd).

I was sent some stuff for recoilling on here, kanthal, cotton wool and silica.

So my options seem to be...

A, recoil evod (its a dual coil if that make a difference...) and im a proper newb.
B, recoil pt2 again im a new
C, use the eternity but keep having to refill
D, use the evod till it burn out completely (how will i know)
E, poss stinkies till i get paid or get some new coils?

try recoiling the protank nothing to lose with that one and its the same head as the evod i think or just try swoping them over and see if the protank head gurgles in the evod

Pt2 is a single coil. Evod glass a dual. Will have a go...i have no idea what mil the kanthal is. Does it matter much?

I know nothing about re-coiling Jack, but don't go back to the stinkies.

have you got a mod that tells you the ohms/resistance of attie
and were did said wire come from ie with an attie or a member on here

It came from itommo.

No mod, just my evod vv and a mini exhale ego style.

My dads a electrical engineer. I haveasked for multimeter from him so should haveone soon.

sorry didnt realize it was a duel coil in the evod but might still fit but cant say for shore
if your going to try a micro coil try 8 or 9 wraps round a 2 mm drill bit on your pt2 will hopefully end up with a usable ohmage (if its to low ad more wraps)
follow super shinys guides and you cant go far wrong

How will i know its too low or high?

Too much vapor or too less...?

Will using this burnt coil do any damage to my batts? Because im a newb im still have no experience of a definite burnt coil so not sure if its my taste or the actual coil....

you want between 1.5 and 2.3 ohms
test it with multimeater (one prob on center pin of built coil head and one on the body will give you the resitance)
DO NOT JUST TRY IT without finding out the resistance because if there is a short it dont end well for your batts

You can recoil your dual into a single on the Evod jackcustard:

The heads won't be interchangeable  . . . . on the Evod 2/Protank.

Come to the vape meet tomorrow in York and get a hand coiling the protank would be my suggestion.
