Damp pirates on the prom then.  Indeed! Tim and I were saying this morning that it would put a dampener on proceedings, and they might not make the record this time - such a shame for all those who did make the effort. Saw a picture of a train arriving in Penzance station disgorging hundreds of pirates - quite amusing! |

Had some torrential downpours in this part of Cornwall as well over the weekend. Not been quite so bad today but there have been many very black clouds about & it's felt more like early March than nearly June  |
