I just came across This and was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the original Capella Vanilla Custard and this version 2 one ? There is no information on the website about it.

WOuld be interested to know the difference myself, as a devoted VC fan. Perhaps they've changed the recipe a bit to cater for us vapers?

Perp I just googled and found this extract of an email from Capella While our custard will contain trace amounts of acetyl propionyl depending on your use level (% used) after you dilute further, its most likely in the parts per billion (PPB)
For your information we are currently working on releasing another version of our Vanilla Custard ( Vanilla Custard 2 - NEW )which will not contain the AP. Although the taste may not be exactly the same, we will still offer BOTH versions for you to choose from.
So you are right enough

I'll stick with V1 rednutt, I've had custards that don't contain Acetoin & Acetylpropionyl and they aren't a patch on those that do. But it'll be good for those that are concerned about such ingredients.

TPA are one of the few who do give a breakdown of what their concentrates contain: shop.perfumersapprentice.com/c-108-the-flavor-apprentice-world-of-flavors.aspx

I've bought butterscotch also which contains custard ingredients. Other than custard I'm vaping jack the ripple and Kandi hed mixed mint as I wasn't a fan of the Capella mints. Yet to try red Astaire I will get round to it one of these days.

If you like menthol and cherry tunes then you should give it a try for sure, tastes very similar to cherry tunes with a slight aniseed aftertaste.

cHooBeyDoo I don't particularly like those flavours so I'm thinking I won't like it but so many raving about it I feel I'm missing out on something. I did order some tjuice samples from smoke rainbow and didn't like vamp vape & minty the toff but I did like jack the ripple and ordered a 10ml concentrate of it. However I've mixed it at 20% and it's fairly bland tasting just like my vanilla custard. My my taste buds need a kick up the bleeeeeep

My my taste buds need a kick up the bleeeeeep I mixed my first go of Colonel Custard at 20%, is slightly sweet but very bland too (and it was steeped for 3-4 weeks). Have a couple more CC mixes steeping, 1 @ 20% (so I added 1% Vanillin) and 1 @ 25% (added 2% Vanillin), we'll see in a week or so if it's made any difference. Got a couple of Red Astaire in the cupboard mixed at different percentages too, going to have to try them soon to compare to the ready made. Don't know why T-Juice recommend 15% as it tastes nothing like their ready made, thinking it should be more like 30% for them types of flavours to be honest!
