I get a good hit e.g. first thing in the morning. The next one is not too bad either, but then the hits drop if vaping in quick succession. This tends to happen through the day/night. If I leave it for an hour or so, then the first hit is good and then downhill again. At first I thought it was the coils (Kanger) and I would change them. The current has been in use for around 3 days. Batteries are fully charged as well. Is this normal?
iTaste vv3.0, Protank II and Kanger coils.

Could just be your taste buds get acclimatised quickly to the juice. Do you have more than one juice & atomiser? Try alternating them, see if the variety regenerates your experience.

A bit like smoking a ciggie. The first few puffs hit the spot, the rest of the ciggie was ..meh , not gonna waste it.
You might want a higher mg nic, or lower resistance coils.

I'm suseing itaste vv3 with an evod clero. I believe that the pro tank two uses the same coil heads as the evod. I don't get this a lot. But I do if I chain vape. I believe it's your taste buds numbing as you vape. You get this with other things as well not just vapeing. Try vapeing something different for couple of days. Or use two tanks/cleroS with a different juice in each and keep swooping them every so often during the day

Remember what it was like with fags, its over a year for me but I recall the first of the day hit hard but thereafter the effect lessened, to a degree the same with vaping. I combat this by having several devices with different juices and alternate them.

I combat this by having several devices with different juices and alternate them. I do that. I change my juice a couple of times a day. I have an all day vape of a tobacco juice. Then an all day flavour juice th I use. And I change this too. And then I have an evening vapeing. At the moment it's cherry. Last week it was ainnsed.

When you say 'a good hit' doctorjellybean do mean the actual feeling you get when you take a vape, i.e throat hit, or do mean a drop in vapour production? If it's a drop in vapour it could be a wicking issue where the coil wicks are'nt soaking up the juice quick enough, if so, as davetherave suggests, try a different clearomiser altogether if you have one. Or maybe take the protank apart, clean it and carefully put it back together, you may have just put it together in an awkward way and not realised. Also if you are using the same juice all the time, maybe change to a different one to see if that helps. I can't vouch for the tastebud syndrome as it hasn't really happened to me yet, but I change my juices all the time, still in the experiment phase.

First vape in the morning will always be the hard hitting one as your throat has changed to being more sensitive due to sleeping/resting, after about 10mins from waking and vaping the sensitivity goes.

I tend to increase my watts/volts as the day progresses. Are you using a variable voltage/wattage device doctorjellybean? If not, it may be worth a shot, if so, try upping the power a bit as the day wears on?

cHooBeyDoo It's the throat hit, almost like vaping air at times. I've been vaping the same e-juice for months, 24mg which is the highest Hangsen apparently makes. tracerace1 I have the clearos which came with the iTaste VV, I guess I could try them again. The only thing is that it's thirstier than a Jag lol. lairey I have upped the wattage to 10, let's see if that makes a difference. As I understand, the vv automatically sets the voltage from the coil? According to the readout: A 2.2 and U 4.2

I know you use more juice.....but hey give it a whirl.......you can always use the iclear inbetween the other clearos just to boost your vaping hit/experience

The watts take into account the resistance of the coil, so will deliver a consistent vape, regardless of the ohms. If it's set to voltage, which the "U" would suggest, then, no, it doesn't take into account the coil resistance (to change from volts to watts, hold the power and the + button down together until the reading starts with "P" - the "A" is your coil resistance) Either way, increasing the power throughout the day, without getting to the stage where the juice tastes a little burnt, should help
