I don't know the name of it either sorry Netty . . . but I also some years ago bought a bottle of some gunk from B&Q, to remove the glue residue left from uplifting some cork tiles on the kitchen floor.
I'm not saying this brand especially, but it's out there . . .

Lol Paddy, you wouldnt say that if you saw it. Although im capable of doing it,its the getting it finished thats the problem. At the mo ive got a half painted kitchen and outhouse,1 new blind up,1 dirty old one up.Half a tiled floor and a bathroom thats begging me to strip it.I enjoy DIY and killing the garden but me and housework dont get on.My home isnt dirty but its not tidy and not dust free, hate cooking and doing dishes is a foreign language to me,lol.Dont get me started on washing and ironing, but if you call for a brew my cups/mugs are clean, lol. NNN xx

NNN xx We've got a lot in common in some areas then In fact, if I do do any DIY I'm a non-finisher, so there isn't much we differ on (I've got more dirt than you), my cups/mugs being clean too. Strange, innit? The whole place is a midden but what I use must be clean scylla

Netty, before using the sticky remover, it might be best to scrape up as much as the gunge as possible with a wallpaper scraper.

Blimey Sue! I'd turf the whole lot out into the garden, hubby included, rifle through the clag . . . locate the dosh, then leave hubby to do the rest, whilst I scampered off to spend the money.
