It looks cheerful though.  I wondered about making some kind of spring steel jacket to make things more drop proof - but it turns out I'm a bit of a klutz. |

I fixed that strappy bit with ribbon but I really think it needs a finer hook and a finer cotton thread and a smaller stitch (maybe single crochet)? Just can't get the 'cut out bits' right even with sock wool.... However...summer project methinks  Worked really well as an anti stress distraction yesterday. Kept me busy for an hour and a half When I say a finer thread....sort of like the stuff you would use for crochet lace? Maybe 2 ply cotton or something? (come on bargain hunters. Find me some) Jane |

I was volunteering and found just what I was looking for for £5 for a big cone. Think it's 1ply though could be 2ply. Don't know. Equally don't know if it's cotton.... But am patiently (well if you call on the verge of assaulting the postie for not bringing any vapemail today LOL) waiting gill2009's kind donation to this project and have been making vamo wraps last night |
