I was wondering what are your experiences of taking vaping gear through Airport Security this year when you are going on holiday abroad and also vaping in the Airport. Heading off myself today for a break

No problems a couple of weeks ago flying to Spain from Bristol or the return journey. In fact when I went through Bristol I put a couple of liquids and a tank that was filled in the clear plastic bag which I put on top of the tray and it was taken aside, when the guy came over to me with the bag he said, "Is that a E-cigarette" I said yes, he said "the bag is too big" and put my gear in a smaller bag and gave it back to me. So the problem was not the e-cig it was the bag i'd used (A Tesco medium sized Zip Lock bag). Spain to Bristol, I just wizzed through no issues.

You get more hassle taking a laptop through than a e-cig. I work at Bournemouth Airport and used to be customs but now do night shift security as i got fed up with customs (pita) but in general e-cigs are part of the norm now, as long as you stick too airport guidelines there will be no problem.

No probs at Gatwick in January with e-liquid, they were more inquisitive about the batteries in my hand luggage but no problems after I told them what the batteries were for.

I've flown 9 times so far this year and not had any problems at all. Mods/batteries in carry on luggage, bulk of liquids in the hold and small amount of liquids in bottles with no labels and in tanks in plastic bag for carry on.
As for vaping at the airport, I've not tried it anywhere, other than stealth vaping in the ladies.

I find that if you can hold your breath long enough, no-one will ever know lol.

Cabin lights were out and I just put my blanket over my head for a sneaky vape

Had no trouble on our Manchester - Portugal trip in April. Even vaped in both airports without hassle. Carry-on had a couple of 20ml bottles of liquid with my own labels on and one tank 1/2 filled with juice in plastic bag, as well as empty tanks, batteries (in plastic cases) and mods stored in this. I put loads of extra juice in a plastic bag (because it WILL leak) in the checked luggage. They didn't even ask to check my gear after it went through the scanners.

Try using a Innokin 134 in stealth mode, might need some more headroom:
