Vaping etiquette ?

What the score on vaping in indoor public areas ?

Is there anywhere I should avoid vaping and go and stand in the smoking shed in the rain to get a nicotine fix ?

I tend to only vape in places where I would have smoked. I have vaped in pubs, but only after asking if it's ok first. I've also stealth vaped on a plane/at work/in the ladies

I'll freely vape in a pub, but I do ask first but not where people are eating.

I vape in friends houses after I've asked if it's ok.

I do not vape whilst in shops.

I've vaped on a train & a plane but not a bus.

Just use common sense & courtesy.

Not everyone knows it's a low risk pass time.

I would not out of choice go to a smoking area : you don't know what you'll be inhaling and it smells awful!

Do you have to use a really crap atomizer to stealth vape on an airplane Karma ? Ie to make as little vape as possible lol.
I can just see there being some very strange looks as clouds of dense vape seep from your pillow or something whilst trying to conceal it all.

I was sitting between my hubby and son who are quite large, held the vape in for quite a while then exhaled while pretending to rummage in my bag

Just use a 100% PG juice, hold the vapour in your lungs for a few seconds before exhling and hardly anything will come out.

High PG juice helps ruffdog, and I only stealth vape in the toilet, holding my breath for quite a while before I exhale downwards. Unless it's a longhaul night flight, then blanket over my head and pretend to be trying to sleep

The thing to remember about "indoor public areas" is that they aren't public. They belong to someone - a pub chain, an airline, whatever. Despite the smoking law not specifically banning vaping, any property owner can set whatever rules they like. So Wetherspoons, for example, don't allow vaping. Some pubs do.

The key is to ask first, and if the answer is 'no' then just respect that.

Mostly, I don't vape where I wouldn't smoke.

Would I vape in a shopping centre? YES.

Have I been asked to stop? NO.

If I was asked to stop in the shopping centres that sell E-Lites.............

I was hoping that places would be a bit more open too it now.
Great that you havn`t had hassle in shopping centers Djs That and being stuck in a rock club all night are about the only places I can see me wanting to vape indoors. Everywhere else I won`t be in long enough to feel the need.
I will tell My Mrs that shopping centers are a big no though as then I don`t have to go clothes shopping with her

same as DiscoDes and jess - though have not vaped in a plane yet - and don't think I will - next flight is in august - about 2 hours - I can manage without - but will vape in the airport toilett

never really thought of that .. so far I have only vaped where I would smoke .. I lie ! apart from in my new car ! I didn't smoke in that but have vaped in it.

as far as indoor public places I'd ask first I think if I was desperate but if it wasn't raining I'd probably go outside
