ive had it with them...2 weeks of messing around for them to turn round to me yesterday to say i entered wrong bank details( which is a lie considering i recieved 2 small amounts to verify). im so bleedin angry...1 week messing around verifying and then to be told(only at time of transaction) i would have to pay with echeques which could be 5-7 days(i dont understand how such a computer orientated company dont work weekends) but at the checkout was 2-3 days. anyway paid and waited (like a little schoolboy waiting for xmas) for the cheque to go through 11th and then in even said it was cancelled.
any one know if i can pursue this in small claims?

I doubt it very much, Paypal have things pretty much sewn up in their terms and conditions.
They can be hard work at times, that's for sure.

If your call is about a limitation placed on your account, please phone Monday-Friday 8am-8.30pm or Saturday-Sunday 9.30am-6.30pm. If your call is about a claim, please phone Monday-Friday 9.30am-8.30pm or Saturday-Sunday 9.30am-6.30pm. You may be charged more for calling from a mobile phone.

sorry guys ..was letting off some steam, was so annoyed after all messing around last 2weeks when i found out...but turns out its my fault. my bank doesnt allow direct debits on my account(bad credit history). would of been nice of paypal to tell me that before waiting 2 weeks, i could of just transfered it over as it take same amount of time as echeques. sue yeh i read your thread...sound like PP were totally in the wrong with that one.

Paypal have got so big now. When I started using it years ago in the early UK ebay days, it was so user friendly and hassle free. I think ebay was the only vendor that accepted it then as a payment option.

I know absolutely zilch about 'cashback' sites therefore it's probably best to wait for the definitive answer from our esteemed leader (Chrissie). Fox

It's something I'd never use I'm afraid King, far too much dodgy financial doings going on via the internet to trust a cashback facility.
My personal feeling is that, it's a no . . . we don't allow personal affiliate codes for Ecig Supplier's and this is of a similar ilk.
Although as Foxy says, it's Chris who has the definitive answer for you.

If that cash back is similar to what I got when I bought the satnav then I steer clear of it. Took me 3 months to actually get it.

I know of Quidco and TopCashback (or similar name), they are bona fide though it used to be said that they could be slow - but it varies with the actual goods supplier, it's often not the cashback outfit's fault.

The only cashback I know about is in supermarkets when you pay with a debit card. They ask you if you want any and add it on to your bill, then give you the cash.
