Lol just got the same email Lilac & was exactly my thoughts as well By my reckoning, 5 of them with P&P would work out to be £91.90 That suddenly makes the more expensive but high quality big battery mods, seem cheap to buy as the batteries for them are only a fraction of that price. Added to that they can be recharged a lot more times than the Tornado batts. Plus of course, the Tornado batts buttons could develop a fault.

Crazy that There's nowt wrong with the regular tornado's which last all day anyway...can't see the point of these at this price. when you consider you can get 5xtornado's at £50, a tenner each, why would anyone buy the new version ???

Or you could buy 6 x 18650, 2500 mAh batteries for only £16.44 Using them in a big battery mod, even heavy vapers will get a couple of days out of them before they need to be recharged

I really like the Super Six - it's proved to be every bit as well made as I thought it was, totally reliable and versatile. I still prefer the SD for ergonomics, but the S6 is joy to use.

Got to admit Prof that if I wasn't so completely happy with my GG's, the Super Six would be a mod I'd go for Bucko, a year ago I paid a similar price for my first 14500 batteries for my GG Grant & those batteries are still working & giving an excellent vape. OK, due to them being so old & recharged so often, they (not unsurprisingly) last as long as they used to between charges. Another thing to think about re the expensive Ego/Tornado batteries is the fact that if the button fails - end of main & most expensive part of e-cig. But with a good, completely mechanical big battery holder mod the button shouldn't fail but if it does, with the better mods it costs peanuts to replace it

Chrissie, is there a sale thread on ECF? i really think i'd like a GGTS, but i'd prefer a 2nd hand one rather than paying the full price for one..

Lilac, there is a separate sub forum for classifieds & swaps on ECF : - www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/classifieds-swaps/However, the GG's that come up for sale tend to be sold very quickly plus the fact that they are usually in the states. Can't remember if you are a member of ECF but if not you could register & start a WTB (Would Like to Buy) thread there

They do lock & move sold threads but I'm puzzled as to why you can't see any for sale threads in that link as there are 9 pages of unsold items ???? ECF is a massive forum with dozens (if not hundreds of sub & sub-sub forums), but there are some very lovely members there .
