Hi All
I am just about to place order to Fasttech for the following items:
Kraken Style Rebuildable Atomizer Kit (2.5mL)
Aqua Style Rebuildable Atomizer
Squape Style Rebuildable Atomizer (5.2mL)
Nemesis Style Mechanical Mod (Copper)
Switch Magnets for Nemesis Mod (10-Pack)
2-in-1 Combo Tester (Ohm Meter + Volt Meter) for E-Cigarette
1. What pre-made coils would you suggested to use from Fastech for the Kraken / Squarpe and a Aqua clones?
2. I also wanted to buy a reel of Kanther wire but am getting a little confused which i need for a Kraken / Squarpe and a Aqua.
3. I also wanted to try the stainless steel wicks for the Kracken but no idea what to buy.
Once I have everything i can order from Fasttech I can place the order, then the rest I can hopefully get from the uk.
If there is anything you think I have missed that would help with rebuilds etc that I can order from Fasttech please can you let me know. Also if there is anything you think I might find useful for rebuilds that is not on Fasttech please let me know perhaps I can get in UK.
Sorry to ask so many questions hope you guys and girls can help
Regards

For ss wicks on the Kraken rope is the best and easiest, you can use 2 or 2.5 mm diameter ss rope (2 is easier). You will still need a small bit of mesh 400 is probably a sensible place to start. Pre-made coils don't really apply. I like 0.32 mm Kanthal, but 0.25 and 0.3 are also options, StealthVape do a mixed pack of 3 different sizes.
Here is a good video in the subject (use thinner Kanthal 0.25 or more wraps to get the resistance (ohms) higher, for dual coils the final resistance is half the resistance of a single coil (if the two are the same). You can just do a single wick to start with if you want:
Edit: I put 2.5 & 3 mm as rope sizes should have been 2 & 2.5 mm

Would you use the fasttech pre made ones www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10007182/1611706 or better to make your own ? I also been looking at lots of you tube vids on the cotton bud and wire just wanted to try them both. Once all this is ordered i will start on on the juices Regards Chill36

Those wires are not what you need, standard Kanthal wire is what your after, the wires you linked to were resistance/no resistance and are not suitable. If your planning on making your own coils you must either buy a multi meter or an ohms checker, so your able to see the resistance of the coils you've made. It's important you do check what you've made for your own safety, there are videos out there showing the process.

That looks fine, if your planning on making micro coils some 0.3 will be worth adding to your basket.

chill36 Get some .25 for making the duel micro coils as it has more resistance per meter. 8 wraps wound on a 2.5mm bit should give around 2.5ohm, 10 will give you 3.0ohm so with 2 coils it will be 1.25 or 1.5 respectively. Start safe and give you battery plenty of headroom in the Amps department ie 30A battery will be good to 15A and use IMR not ICR. and if using ohms law calc to work out the amps, always put 4.2v for your volts.

Many thanks for that I do need to read more on this, before i start but wanted to get all the ideas I needed. I think Fasttech takes 3 or 4 weeks from reading other posts so I will be reading like crazy getting ready for the delivery Regards Chill36

I'd stick to a single coil to start until your fully confident with what your doing. Keep things simple
