to be honest focal are/were doing a group buy on vamo,s at just over  £10 and if you dont have one its a bit to good a deal to miss(and it takes about 4 weeks to come)

Oh, dear still deliberating about the V1. Since I smoke in the car when going solo, wondering if I should get that kit as well as the evod, as it can be held more easily or is that just wasting money?!

I can't recommend the lanyards high enough for car use eyes they fit perfectly on an ego battery and as I said loads of colours to chose from, I just leave mine dangling around my neck all day in work and in the car lol

They should be my Ego case fits 2 batteries, 4 tanks, a needle tip bottle and my charger and I think mines the medium one.

I guess only you can decide if it is a waste of money.
IF you buy something like an evod or mini PT kit, it's possible you won't use the V1 at all.
In honesty, if you spoil yourself with something "good" then an entry-level product will leave you disappointed.

I use my "premium kit" in the car, one of the pleasures of driving.

Oh dear - sorry - another question!!

Will it be o.k. to use the usb charger for the evod in the existing 3 pin plugs/adaptor I have? I have one used with kindle and one with Samsung note. I don't want to risk it catching fire!

You should be fine, I use either an iPhone, blackberry or HTC USB wall plug to charge my ego batteries and I haven't fried anything yet!
