Hi
Vaping newbie here. Took the plunge about a week ago, and am enjoying "smoking" now more than ever before.
I bought a starter kit from amazon called a Discoball, and even as a complete novice I can tell it's not the greatest piece of kit.
So, what I was wondering is whether I could have some tips about better equiptment, and also where is best (cheapest!) to buy from. I've got an order in for some Grizwald's juice and don't want to waste it by using a vape that won't do it justice. Would I be best to just buy a new tank and keep the current battery (1100mAh), or buy a new kit completely?
Thanks

Welcome johny5times, last time I heard a name like that it was in Goodfellas. I am so not the best to advise on what you asked, but I believe that myepack.co.uk have some good starter kits. I know you have started already, but its a good idea as you get atomiser and especially the battery & charger together. Its late now, but by this time tomorrow you will get some good recommendations. Well done for taking the first step and if what you're vaping isn't doing it for you someone here will help you find something better.

depends on budget and how much control you want a good kit for starting out with some control but not the cheapest myepack.co.uk/batteries/innokin-itaste-vv-v3-0-express-kit.htmland this tank myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/kanger-aerotank-mini.htmlnow youll only have one batt and one tank but you can charge and use the itaste vv3 at the same time ,change the volts/watts(how much power you put throw the tank like the bigger mods)The tank is supposively one of the best out at the moe in that size and you can control how hard you pull on it (the draw).Basically a kit that as your knolage grows and you want to play more will let you and then there are these kits which are still good but no adjustments just a good reliable plug and play setup but you get 2 batts and 2 tanks so can charge on whilst usinga diff one but you cant charge and use the same batt if that makes sence myepack.co.uk/kits/e-vod-2-starter-kit.htmldepends on what your going to be happy with because i always wounder can i get it a bit better i went for the 1st setup when i started and loved it part from only having one batt and tbh i got my mum an evod setup cause its simple and she,s not lol

johny5times Best advice on cheapest and kit is above. I would get one of these to start with. The itaste VV V3 would give you a look into vv/vw (varibable power), enabling you to adjust the vapour production, but the small'ish battery may be an issue if you are away from a charging point for long periods. It is about 3/4 the capacity of the battery you now use. You can always take the 1100mAh battery with you as a spare, just in case.
Another option, if you know that this is going to work making you give up smoking. Then the MVP 2 is variable power and also on the myepack site for £37 MVP 2 and will eliminate any battery capacity issue, as it has a 2600mAh battery. That's enough to last a full 24 hours, some say it lasts 3 days without charging, but they must be light 'vapers'.
I upgraded to vv/vw after the first month using a cheap starter kit, when I knew that I wasn't going to smoke again and I could see how much I had saved in that first month. I went out and bought the itaste VTR and haven't looked back, or had a cigarette since.
Spend a week having a look around and doing some reading on this site, and if you feel vaping is going to work for you then go for a vv/vw device that will last you.
Edit: If you end up deciding to buy a device that uses separate batteries then come back for advice before choosing the batteries. The ones on the myepack site are all good to use, but on ebay its a different story.

johny5times - hi and a warm from me too Some good advice and links above; Myepack is a respected and good vendor with excellent prices. Something with variable voltage would be a great next step, and all the tanks etc. will fit on the batteries no problems. The cost may seem quite high to start with, but equate it to your average daily spend on tobacco and you will soon see that it's a fairly cheap way of getting yourself set up to continue vaping.
