Sorry - I will try to be serious for a moment, okay? Vapewise, I would load up everything you've got and CONSCIOUSLY vape that whenever you feel like it, wherever you want to vape it. If YOU consciously think "I'm not going to smoke at all" it is easier to treat every ciggie NOT had as a victory for YOU. If your parents say anything critical, just say "yes I agree" or "yes I know" and say to yourself in your head "hahahaha you think I'm agreeing with you" but actually you're not. Just be all bubbly and happy and helpful and kind and make THEM feel like they're wasting THEIR time by being overly critical. There - you have no idea how much effort that took to think of that crap, and now I need a lie down to recuperate Go into the weekend positive & don't let them grind you down because you are BETTER than that and you know it

Out of interest, do they smoke wibble, and do they know that you now don't and vape instead? Might be an interesting discussion, or if they seem against it, might be a possible bone of contention. Have you worked out how to deal with this question if it arises?

It applies to any old folk that talk nonsense and think "because I'm of a more mature generation I know everything and you are just a child" - even when you're 30+ with 15 children... Wise words CaptainChaos....you must need a lie down now

I had to chuckle when I read about your ' Royal ' visit . . . as that's exactly what I used to call appearances from mine wibble. Having a open bottle of Vodka under the sink and taking copious swigs while I prepared lunch, helped. Though invariably by the time lunch was ready I'd be bladdered. So maybe that wasn't such a great idea after all. Interesting to read, that whatever age we are, our parents still have the ability to give us a stressful time. Why is that. Anyhow, glad you survived your weekend.

Well done wibble for getting through the weekend. i made it too. It wasn't the hassle i expected with 101 questions / comments on vaping though. Just the old'yun being a doower, sour faced old C***! excuse the language but omg, had a face on him the entire visit, acting like a spoiled 4yr old. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr Gails parents were not impressed by him one iota, infact they vouch never to bring him up again. !!!!
