What is the best way to clean the new metal and glass atomizers, that have a metal coil? I just got one that you can change out the metal coil. But I will be vaping using only VG, so it will need to be cleaned a few before I replace it.
The Vape shops say use Everclear (expensive), rubbing alcohol, or vinegar, and one guy told me put an Alcaselcer table in hot water with the atomizer.
I will be boiling the atomizer after cleaning, so it sterilize it.
What is the best way you clean your Atomizer? Some of the suggestions of cleaners did not sound healthy??

What atty is it. If its a normal rba then you don't need to keep cleaning it unless your changing flavours. Just dry burn the coil. Ive only ever washed my rba's using hot soapy water and then a good rinse under the tap.

tcr1016It's a good idea to introduce yourself on the newcomers page, then ask your question at the same time, likely to get more response that way.

tcr1016If it's new & metal and glass you can use a few drops of washing up liquid in hot water. Dismantle it first and then give it a good vigorous wash. If you have it some Milton fluid or other food safe steriliser will also do just give it a good rinse afterwards. I then put mine in a tea towel and go out into the garden and give it a good spin, reassemble and vape away. IMO it's not necessary to dry as it's only water in there and any water left on the wick soon boils off when you start vaping. I have used denture tablets on USED coils to help rid them of smells/flavours, or Bicarbonate of Soda which is what denture tablets are made of as it is good at removing flavours, though if you have some strong flavours you will find them very hard to remove. Many Vapers have invested in Ultrasonic Cleaners which are also very good for cleaning atomisers. I would not boil an atomiser, you run the risk of cracking the glass tank.

Bicarbonate of Soda, may well be called Baking Soda your side of the pond tcr1016 . . . you should find it in a tub, in your grocery stores Home Baking section. A heaped teaspoon in half a cup of hot water, left overnight can help revive used coils a little.
