I've been waiting for my JJ juices to steep for a week AND I've just got a delivery of 9 juices from another company and what happens...

I've now got a stinking cold and a really sore throat.I can't taste a thing, nose is streaming a very sorry state.

This is the first time I've had a cold in my vaping career.Unlike stinkies , vaping seems to be severely affected, even small gentle vapes seem to really hit the throat badly.I think this is because of the nature of vaping being dry in comparison with stinkies.

SO, IF your a new vaper , or someone reading about vaping and are looking to change , this is something to take into consideration.I say this because, if your new to vaping , like myself, this comes as a bit of a surprise , and maybe a heavy VG juice ( I don't have one steeped enough yet   )  would help out , but certainly 80/20 juices that are mass produced almost rip up the throat.Secondly , if you're thinking of changing to vaping from stinkies , then don't try vaping when you have a cold , as you won't enjoy it and you won't be giving  vaping the chance it deserves.

If you're completely off the stinkies and have only given up recently it could be that and not an actual cold, apparently it's something some people can suffer for a week or two after giving up cigs.

It's definitely a cold, I'm sneezing, got a blocked nose one minute then it's running like a sprinter the next and worst of all the sore throat.

I want to vape but it's making my throat so bad.

I've always got JJ's peppermint & JJ's menthol mixed up and use them every day but when MANFLU strikes they are all I vape.

They are ready to vape straight away so get some for the medicine cabinet.

If you have a cold, reach for some menthol juice... it's like breathing vicks or something... I found it really good the last time I had a cold.

Don't suffer Montana, if you have some high vg juice steeping then use it early. The only steeping I do is when I buy some of my regular flavours in advance and they just stay in the bottle till I need them.

I have a couple of added problems , first , I don't like menthol, I've just got some spearmint but I couldn't smell anything when I opened the bottle.So I'm just suffering 30 miles from home until 18:00 on a hot and sweaty building site.

Well , I'm glad to be home and slowly getting my taste buds back.

I've just found a tip, well it's worked for me anyway.

I just put some spearmint in my dripper and it's cleared my sinuses a little bit, enough to be able to taste my other flavours ( old ones which I knew ) again, but it DIDN'T start to work for about 30 minutes because all you get is the spearmint flavour ( Yes I was using an already made up EVOD tank of RY4 ), then the flavours seem to come back slowly.It's not as good as it was a couple of days ago but enough to enjoy again , PHEW !!

Andy, your on a building site so it could be one of many things agitating you due to the dust in the air. The female members will point it all to man flue , you've got to man up mate.

At the worst, admit to hay fever otherwise your other half will have you on double duties after this and you will be condemned.

What ever the cause, I hope that you get it sorted out.

I agree that my throat is getting affected on site by plasterboard and plaster dust.I'm a plumber and I've been doing a lot of soldering ( very unusual nowadays on a semi commercial site ( A care home )) and the burning with flux will affect my throat for the worse.

MAN FLU, NO WAY , well , maybe it is , lol
