My husband has just gone out for his couple of pints before picking up our take-away, yummy cant wait He has on my request taken the suppliers cards on this forum to drop off in two pubs and will explain about ecigs (as best he can coz he doesn't smoke or vape) and we are hoping that they will see the benefit of vaping to their trade and people who maybe wanting to quit. Not sure if they will have much interest though because no one really seems to vape around here, and when he mentioned it to the landlord last time a woman who had a bit to much to drink kept talking over him and saying they were useless and gave her headaches they were I believe from a garage. If they seem interested, I may actually bother to go out with him again, I stay in now since the ban

What a star your hubby is Sandra, considering he doesn't smoke or vape!! You have him very well trained. Enjoy your takeaway.

Completely agree Sandra, even if only one person is interested (but fingers crossed the landlords/landladies of the pubs will also take an interest) they will hopefully spread the word about e-cigs Well done to your hubby & I also hope you both are enjoying your takeaway

I take a few cards out with me in my wallet, a good one is the Liberro card as it explains on the back about e-cigarettes and how they are not covered by the smoking ban.
I went to a pub last night that I've never vaped in before and just vaped away the staff came round clearing the (many hehehe) empties and made no comment. It was funny to watch others on my table keeping getting up and going outside for a "nasty". But not one of them asked me about my e-cig, either that's weird or people are just getting used to seeing them?
Edited for Typo's

It's about perception of ecigs as well, maybe?
If they're marketed as a quit smoking device, rather than an as a healthier alternative nicotine delivery system . . . ecigs will be linked to tobacco smoking in uninformed minds. ???
