wierd patina on clone stingray

polished this yesterday, come up like a dirty ss colour, looked quiet nice, then at the end of the day it has went really dark never seen anything like it,

is this the norm with stringray clones? is it the phantom brass? even though the original has that brass i dont no if the clone does probs not,

i dont know if i like it or not there is no texture on it like a normal brass patina, and colour is wierd hmmm unsure.

I have one of these coming from M-Vapes, gotta say... I quite like the patina.. kind of rugged!!!
Not very helpful I know... but to be honest I have no idea how you gonna keep that shiny. Will post up how I get on when mine arrives.

What did you use geordie_vaper? brasso?

And which clone is it FT or elsewhere?

Mine stays ' polished 'looking for a good few days , even after a week it's never gone that cool colour

yeah just good old brasso, used same tin on other brass mods mods and they come up great, i do like the patina it has now but its not the norm

Would something like Autoglym work any differently, when I bothered to clean my GGTS that's what I used to use in preference to Brasso - as the black residue seemed to come off on my fingers, though I didn't buff it up that enthusiastically, must admit.

after changing to a diffrent kayfun and drip tip combo and polishing the ss accents i now love it
