Yes Perpetua - at least a temporary reprieve! I've no idea what I did either Ian, so goodness knows how I will reproduce it - but Des's theory sounds plausible!

but Des's theory sounds plausible! It's a well known "mod" to clearomisers along with cutting the notches to make them slightly bigger so that once again the wick is not crimped. I di use clearo's for a while and did this mod myself to make them better. When they vape well they're awesome. I only gave up on clearo's cos of the need to use a syringe and my GF hated the syringes. spikey things are now a possibility to use but they are not pocketable.

A Arry Clearo Tank is the best way to use a clearo for me, I just pop the delrin top off with my nail ( having put some vaseline on the rim that sits inside the perspex tank part ) squonk juice, job done.

Spikey things can be made pocketable if you make yourself a cap for the spike ;)It was over on UKV about it so i had one made in seconds and works a treat. As for lifting the bung a tad, yeah that will make wicking alot better, another thing i neglected to mention as its standard procedure

I agree with Perpy, the best way to use these is in an Arry clearomiser tank.Your wick has alot more room in the tank and by fluffing the wick it works tenfold better.Which reminds me i must put some tanks up for sale, ive got way to many and cant use them all

Well I've got an Arry v3 tank on order - would that do the job, or is there some special version for the clearos?

That's specifically for Cartomiser's Dave, so no it wouldn't be suitable for your Clearo's . . . Ian did say he was thinking of selling some of his Clearo Tank collection, so maybe you could work something out along with your box mod.

Perpetua - you are a very bad influence, if I haven't said that before However, I will resist this one for now, as to be honest I have got so many things currently on trial or on order that I haven't got any spare puffs per day left to try anything else!

Nice to see that others are as bad as me for collecting a big pile of stuff and then realising you can only use one thing at a time

Perpetua - you are a very bad influence, if I haven't said that before I do try Dave, it's in my job description . . . Vaping Temptress. I'm sure you'll try one sooner or later.

Well I have fallen before, but this time my resolution lasted about 10 seconds, as I got Ian's pm as soon as I had posted. Such a generous offer that I had to accept! Like the man said - I can resist anything but temptation
