With your last words being "tell VapingBad he was righhhhhtttt" Not yet he aint I just said the soldering was sloppy and "I'm not saying its going to give up any time soon". Looks like that power chip is more of a concern. Real DNA boards can be had for £42 delivered and it would still be much cheaper than a Hana.

That looks like they used a power chip that is not high-enough spec or bad design, putting a heat-sink may extend its life. One of the pics was quoted as being used for 10 puffs then kaput. Think robby is still alive though so it might be a case of a couple of bad ones in the bunch. I wouldn't expect wild variance between mass produced chips (no expert), it could be another part of the circuit that feeds the chip with the wrong voltage that causes it. Time will tell and I hope that they are generally reliable for you guys.

Mine`s been running with a .7 / .8 coils in it since I got it, just ran it for 10 seconds with my pinky on that chip @ 15watts, doesn`t even feel warm.

That's good the hear Robbie, sounds like it another part of the circuit failing and feeding that chip the wrong voltage as if the chip was borderline spec you would expect it to get hot in normal use. Just guessing here.

Current setup on the mod, 2 NR/R/NR 1.5 ohm coils in parallel in a MAGMA, the arrows point to the individual air channel outputs under the coil. Coils are a bit old now, almost a week, time I changed them. Coils from FT.

Seriously considering some silicone sealant for that connector and also sealing the electronics cover down with sealant, just in case.

Seems easy enough to change if it is. Yes it is, it`s a pretty basic 510 connector and that type have been prone to leaks in other devices. A bit of sealant will do for now though

If there is a possiblity of leakage, it would drip right onto the board, and one drip may be all that is necessary to kill it. I`ll change it in due course for a spring loaded one

A bit of sealant will do for now though Would a 510-510 connector be more easy?? Any juice from the atty 510, would drip direct into the drip well of the 510/510 connector, also a 510-510 connector would reduce the risk of threads being worn .

Wouldn`t look great though, with the atty sittin on top of the adapter mike weaver93

So... Mine turned up today and the only issue I have is whether or not I'll be happy using my Vamos/MVP now that I'm starting to get used to it. I think we'll be very happy together Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards
