Yours still going strong robby ?? Yes, no problems. I would say that under 0.7ohm, they are temperamental. I tried one at just under .7 ohms and it was sometimes firing okay, and sometimes firing at a lower voltage, you could hear it down in volume. 0.7ohm and above it is faultless.

Well you'll not be surprised that I still haven't ordered one but I've finally got it down to 2 colours hahahaha

Very little to be honest, I have two drippers on the go most of the time, the Magma and one of the usual suspects, think it`s an Igo, there is certainly a difference between them. The magma flavour is definitely better. Next time you recoil one of them then maybe try different ohms for comparison in same device...my theory is bigger coil with more volts making same watts should work better Just a theory though! I dont make coils, I buy em Dont forget that each coil would only be burning half the watts of a single one, you dont get out for nowt On the plus side, on a double coil set up, the wicking is only half what it would be on a single coil setup of the same resistance, so less dry burns and less stressed coils

I have always used greigster's coiling thingy since first few attempts where a mess, half my right hand is numb so was finding it tricky without it. But managed my first pair of coils using only a toy screwdriver tonight! ..........needs must, I took out my coils only to realise I had left almost all my coiling stuff at work!!! ended up making twisted ribbon coils.....took bloody ages too, but I've obviously got better at fiddly stuff! I think I get that dual coil vs single coil you get half the watts per coil, hadn't thought of it like that before. But if you have say a setup at 0.7 ohms set to 30 watts device will be outputting 4.6volts to make this happen vs 1.4ohms set to 30 watts device will output 6.5volts so my thinking was as your upping the volts won't the bigger coil get just as hot but have bigger surface area contact? I really wish I had my IPV, still waiting on greyhaze, latest is will hopefully get next week, all this theory stuff is starting to drive me mad, I need to just try it out!!!

I'm no expert on these things and the accuracy of the battery display could be a bit dodgy, but the only time I tried the USB charging, it charged about 50% in an hour. Considering how long it took to charge them in my i2 to begin with, it can't be good for the batteries to charge them as quickly as the USB seems to? I'll stick to taking them out in future, emergencies aside. Not too sure how long I'll be able to, mind. There was plenty of movement in the bit that holds the battery in place when I swapped one out earlier. Oh well, it'll be an easy fix for Ronaldo if it does break and he could change the 510 for me while he was at it Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

From what I can discover BrenD , the charging current of the USB board that the clones all seem to use is 500ma which is fine

BrenD I've found the battery display works like a petrol tank indicator in reverse.. kinda gets to 50% quick enough then takes an age to finish (if you know what I mean?)

I am so tempted with one of these it is unreal. I can only find black and grey though on focalecig? Any idea if they will be getting a mini version in?
Sent from me from some far away land.
