Nice work Simon, good to see a mechanical box mod. Not just beautiful woodwork, but also like the simple functionality that you've created here. I really like the mod you made for Poo, which works in series as well as parallel. I think you changed the position of the button on this one, do you think it fits better on the side, or did it have to be at the top to work in series mode? Although there is a good amount of detail in the photos, would you be okay with sharing a plan of the design? Possibly with the one that can be switched between series and paralled, some drawing on paper, with dimensions and explanations of the connections, as this is something I wouldn't mind trying to build and looks like a good first build for others. With some kind of step by step tutorial, I think you could help a lot of people build there first mod. Is the top right angled copper piece soldered to the 510 connecter?

That's gonna be the hardest hitting mech mod, wolf in sheep's clothing: something that look so nice be such a beast.

Thank you for all the kind comments The button would have to be on the top for a series and parallel mod. As for measurements I'm not quite sure as each part was mad by eye. Just shaving bits off at a time until if fitted, it's just how I work. The angled bit is not soldered to the 510, it's free floating but the centre pin is soldered to the copper plate for the batteries positive contact, hope that makes sense. It's quite a simple circuit realy, your just putting a break in somewhere along the copper which will be brides by the button

I've recently (reluctantly) bought a set of digital calipers that allow me to be accurat, but I prefer doing things by eye. Lasercutters and 3d printers work in millimeters, craftsmen work by eye. Top job!!!!
