They are wicking too well (flooding) and the juice is going down the centre post air hole, when it does this put a tissue over the mouth piece and blow through the air hole (I use a photographers dust blower with rubber on the tip to seal). You could increase the airflow (less vacuum pulling the juice in) or cover the channels to the deck a little more.

Thankyou VapingBad will give that a try if not will strip them down and re wick Stop! Turn them upside down, blow through the mouth piece while holding a piece of tissue over the air hole, doing it the other way will make things way worse lol I'm sure this is what VapingBad actually meant otherwise you'd just do the same thing as sucking and pull even more juice through, turning them upside down creates an air pocket so you can blow the little flood out without blowing more juice into the situation.

I've seen mention of blowing through the air hole before and wondered at the wisdom. I have a KF 3.1 that has the air hole on the side and always do as enjay said and blow only air and excess juice out.

No, I meant clearing the juice out of the air inlet and centre pin by blowing into the air inlet with the atty the right way up (upside down is OK but only needed if really gurgley). This will blow the juice back into the chamber and any pool above the air inlet in the chamber + condensation in the chimney & mouth piece out the mouth piece. Don't need an airlock as this will not create any negative pressure in the chamber or pull more juice in from the tank. Doing this with the atty upside down will get rid of even more juice from the chamber, but rarely necessary. Blowing through the mouth piece while upside down works, but not as effective and blows the condensation into the chamber. E: missed the word only in 1st para

You can also suck juice out of the air inlet with an empty needle bottle or syringe.

I do it the same way as enjay, Not saying the other way doesn't work but I think it's more likely to cause further flooding.

Serious question: how could it cause more flooding? Not trying to be argumentative etc, but just sharing what works for me as are enjay & Greg. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Because blowing through the air hole is basically the same as sucking out the mouth piece which sucks juice into the chamber that got flooded in the first place and caused juice to go down the air hole lol

]Because blowing through the air hole is basically the same as sucking out the mouth piece which sucks juice into the chamber that got flooded in the first place and caused juice to go down the air hole lol Sorry that's not correct, only the direction of air flow is the same. Blowing creates positive pressure, sucking creates negative pressure. In normal operation you apply negative pressure and the constrained air inlet prevents the pressure equalising until after you stop sucking. This negative pressure in the chamber pulls liquid in from the tank. Blowing through the air hole applies positive pressure and the outlet (mouth piece & chimney) is not as tightly impeded so the pressure build up in the chamber is lower in magnitude that when vaping, that pressure is positive and if it had any effect it would act to push juice into the tank from the chamber (minute amount if any). Take a Kayfun Lite/Russian and blow into the air inlet as much as you like it won't cause it to flood, if you keep sucking the mouth piece it will. E: Thanks for the reply as I didn't understand what was not computing with you guys and hope I have cleared that up. E2: I just remembered that when I first heard of this method it was to blow with the power on so you burn off the extra juice without sucking more from the tank, same thing but less messy and maybe that will sit better with you guys. I have just done it for so long after rewicking to clear any liquid out the air channel and just do it that way all the time.

Everything sits good with me, even garlic although the OH does complain about the breath

My main reason for doing it that way is that I feel it's better to blow juice out of the inlet rather than into the mouth piece.

Thankyou to VapingBad enjay @scooby Greg for your replies ive tried both the methods suggested and when i turn the KFL upside down and blow through the mouth piece i did get a small amount of juice come out of the air hole, Also blew through the air hole with the KFL the right way up which seemed to clear any juice that was present hearing a gurgling noise. I have now unscrewed the air screw so its flush with the base and so far i have no more leakage, Unsure what way worked so as im on sick at the moment and lots of time on my hands going to do a full strip down of both atties today and rewick them covering the deck a little more to to see if it that helps aswell. Thankyou for all your replies they are much appreciated Grandad
