So, Khromm and I are in our local Sainsbury's at the pharmacy and we spot some e-cigz on full display on the counter.
Well, we had a look at the prices and were shocked by how expensive they were and started to have a chuckle. The woman behind the counter asked why we were laughing and so we showed her ours.
We proceeded to explain the differences between hers and ours, even explaining about differing batteries. LOL
She even let us both have a puff after, and was impressed with our vapour generation - and in the shop too!!
Only concern is that at those prices, they were almost as expensive as tabs, which would send out the wrong message and put off potential vapers benefitting from what we currently do.
On a positive note, it's good to see products like these getting marketed as the healthier alternative, right there on every box.

Expect they were Chrissie. Most supermarkets sell them now. Tesco's are £5.99, bet Sainsbury's are dearer!

I've only seen the 10 Motives (my first e-cig - yuck!) at Tesco. These were different. The next time I'm up there I'll get the brand name, but they were in a white and green box?

I must really get round to checking out the 2nd largest Tesco's in Europe that we've just had open on our doorstep, to see where they've placed their 10 Motives . . . I've managed to very happily avoid it for the last 3 weeks.

White and green box sounds like Intellicig to me - and they are expensive, in keeping with their 'NRT' image!!

Our local Tesco has had them for a few weeks at the pharmacy counter. £7.xx for a disposable one which claims to be the equivelant to 25 fags. Not much of a financial incentive to quit!

In my local Tesco, I noted they were selling two different brands of disposable, 10 motives on the tobacco counter and Nicolites on the Pharmacy. I had a word with the assistant on the Pharmacy, asking her how sales were going, to which she replied, they were selling well, but management were concerned that they were selling too fast, leading them to re think the whole situation, it appears they were concerned that people were swapping one bad habit for another...
To me, £6 or £7 is not too much to pay for a trial, providing the ecigs deliver, of course, and hopefully, some of those people who try them will go on to look for more cost effective ecigs via the net...
Lets hope so anyway..
