Actually that's not the point, you should be able to get it out of the box, stick an atty on, a battery inside and vape, you shouldn't have to modify anything Well Q , you were right , it was totally beyond me ! What is an easy one to get , Nemy ?

You cant go wrong with a nemmy mrlimbo , I haven't given up on my 4Nine yet, had a nice PM from Doris, I'm now pretty certain that there's nothing wrong with it, its just totally different to what I'm used to, I'm checking through my atties to see if I've got a compatible one then I'll have another go at it

Just make sure that the positive (centre) pin on your atty stands at least 1mm proud of the base

Perhaps if you tell us what the problem is with the 4nine mrlimbo? Plus - a nemesis isn't the simple mod you asked for. Superb when you get them fettled, but for out of the box simple, and cheap, have a look at FT. The M16, Atom and the launcher are all easy to use. Quality wise the Launcher is superb, but very heavy. Has a flawless button, but it's a big un. The M16 brass is also quite heavy, but works every time and needs no messing as it has a spring loaded firing pin. The Atom, and the Astro come to think of it, are only about 6 ml longer than the 4nine and lightweight steel, both with telscoping firing button. Any atty fits all of these.

Disagree on the nemmy buggritt , I've got 2, stuck a battery in, atty on top and away I go, EASY. Word of warning on the 4Nine DONT try an aerotank

I was making an assumption based on my one nemmy, and the fact that many seem to go for magnets straight away Q. Mine had a shocking firing switch and was a bit rough around the top cap. The reason someone unused to mechs may prefer the Atom. Telescopic 510, no need to mess with a screwdriver.

mrlimbo QIf you know anyone with a lathe its a 2 min job to knock a thread off the attys 510 connection to make any tank work on a 4nine. Ive done it on all my aero tanks. Shame none of you live closer to me as you would be more than welcome to pop in and i`d do it for you . posting might make it none cost effective ?

In all the videos I watched , none of them had the centre pin ? so is that the problem ? should of I been using the mod without the centre pin in ?

Apart from my Expromizer (which has a floating centre pin) I haven't found a viable combination which includes that centre button thingie. Remove, make sure that the positive pin from the atty stands proud of the insulating ring and make sure you use button topped batteries and you have a good hybrid. As with any Hybrid, do not use an atty which can leak through the centre pin (so I'd not trust a Squape and I certainly wouldn't trust a Protank or similar.
