I have just mixed 60ml of Minty the Toff into a 100ml bottle and given it a good shake with the intention of decanting it into 2 x 30ml bottles. I then thought it may not have mixed thoroughly enough and the contents of the 2 bottles would be different so I left it all in the 100ml bottle to decant later. So my question is do you shake or stir and is it possible to decant straight away?

I just shake my mixes but I don't decant until I want to put some in my 10ml refill bottles then it's just one bottle from the larger bottle. Mind I've got lazy recently and have been mixing directly into the 10ml bottles as I like to have loads of different fruit type flavours.

I'm the same as babs, just give whatever sized bottle I have made a good shake and never decant, even from 100ml bottles.

Right, so I will have to leave it in the large bottle the alternative is to just mix 30ml if I want it in a 30ml bottle - I am at the beginning of another learning curve here - thanks for the advice

I have tried the Milk frother method and it seems like it works well.

I tried the milk frother in one of two identical mixes and it made no difference what so ever :/

I hang all my juices off the washing machine in a carrier bag using a big magnet so my answer would have to be vibrated

I have tried the Milk frother method and it seems like it works well. I think any of these ' forced ' methods of steeping are a waste of effort and there's no substitute for patience and some time myself.
