Getting my first RBA - would the Fogger v4 be a good place to start? The reviews sound good, and the price is within my budget. If yes, any suggestions on a reputable vendor with a good price would be much appreciated. tia

I've not tried the v4, I had a v3 but it's changed quite a lot since then!
I believe that the v4 is dual coil only, which may be a bit of a pain for your first RBA. Still, it's not expensive and so could be worth a punt, but I'd think you'd be better with a kayfun or similar to start with. If you have no objections to clones, there are loads available in the same price bracket. Plus the kayfun is a phenomenal atty, the results will likely really impress you if your moving from clearos.
edit: looks like the fogger can be set up as a single coil as well, but I'd still chose a kayfun over the fogger myself.

I've just bought a Fogger v4. My first RBA, had it coiled and filled within half hour of getting home with it. I don't know how it would be compared with others, but it is good.

ionian, I am comfortable with rolling my own coils - do it presently for kanger heads. sounds like it may be worth a punt then. where did you buy yours, Ripshod? and how much? any more opinions?

I bought mine at a local b&m so a bit dearer, surfatwork . Myepack have them at £24.99 + the usual delivery and that. You'll be able to find it cheaper tho.
