Vamo or Zmax kit

It's been absolutely fine for me silentscream, no issues of any kind at all with mine . . . the end cap is a bit rough thread wise screwing in, but I just put a smear of Vaseline on from time to time and that smooths that out.

djs also has a SID I know.

Overall there's been mixed opinions from what I've read - but from me, no complaints.

Thanks I think I'm just going to go ahead and get one it looks quite nice specially the silver one.

I do. I love SID's. I had two. A silver and a black. The silver was my every day mod. I dropped the poor thing I can't remember how many times and it just kept on ticking. Never missed a beat.

It gave up a few weeks back after I dropped it on concrete from about 6ft. It still worked for a few days but when I tried to change the battery it refused to come back on. It served me very well.

I now use the black SID all day every say and love it just as much!

Vamo's are work horses....hubby has 2 now and would never be without them

I used to have a cup too.....but then it went to 2 cups.....so with an order from Slow tech we got some holders.....well worth it.....they are great little things and for less than a fiver you cannot go wrong......

The batteries and the tank that come with it are rubbish IMO. The manual states 'don't use protected batteries' and they supply 2 ICR protected batteries with it. Try figure that one out. A case of the marketing department not listening to the design team and just bundling anything cheap with it to call it a starter kit.
