Perpetua how did you get on with the Sid? I'm thinking of buying one as a backup to my V5. Does the silver one hold its finish better than the black? Anyone else used a SID? It's been absolutely fine for me silentscream, no issues of any kind at all with mine . . . the end cap is a bit rough thread wise screwing in, but I just put a smear of Vaseline on from time to time and that smooths that out. djs also has a SID I know. Overall there's been mixed opinions from what I've read - but from me, no complaints. Yes, nothing to complain about from me. Then again, I swap around all the time, not like when I had an EVIC

Either or from me elly2 - they're both good devices to use. The Zmax is neater and has that bit more versatility on battery sizes . . . but I still like and enjoy using a Vamo. Here they are side by side with a SID: Just looking at this thread .. I don't have a vamo or a zmax ? They do look good - Hmmmmm do I need to get me one of these ??

I run a SID too, the soft comfy black one. I'm happy with it, but not overly. I use my chinese V5's more.

No offence to anyone, but i really dont get why people would shell out for 3 zmax mods but wont pay that cost for a used Provari or something else in that range,.. ive seen people on various forums buy mods, get faults on it and then buy another...then another,.. i just dont get it... i know things like the Provari are expensive and for most people its a luxury... i myself couldnt afford one so had to buy used... could i afford another...No..but i dont need to as its still running perfectly while most people are now a couple or more mods down the line. I had one Zmax, thought it was great and then had the chance to buy another, cheap, in an AAE-C group buy so in the end I got 2 for the price of one.
I already have a Provari which is under House Arrest, purely on the basis of its price.
I am still trying to work out which MOD really is value for money. IE if I spend 40 quid on a MOD, can I expect it to last at least 40 weeks? The Segelei Zmaxs probably made it by the skin of their teeth, but only because they were a Group Buy and therefore half price. The Vamo on the other hand is way past its sell buy date even if I had paid full price for it and is by far the best buy of these two MODs.

I have a Vamo in SS and it was my first 'proper' MOD, it's been dropped, kicked, dunked in a horse trough, fallen down the stairs with me and generally abused. The screen cover is so loose it falls out (must order a new one) but it still works. I also have a Z Max (Sigelei, tele, sloped top) which I just cannot get on with. Horses for courses I guess.

Thanks for the opinions, have decided to go for the vamo kit with an aspire nautilis tank, didn't realise I could choose the tank as well so that caused even more bloomin confusion . So my next question is do myepack have a discount code as my total is over £200

You will love them elly2, the Nautilus is a great tank and will perform very well on a Vamo!

That setup is pretty much all I use at the mo and I love it. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

Hi BrenD the nautilus filled with home mixed RA is becoming my fave set up atm, the airflow is set to the biggest airhole and will spend some time over the weekend having a play about with it.
