ronaldo Don't let complacency set in, I know you been playing well in the championship but still early days.
Liverpool should of won in the 90 minutes with the amount of possession but sloppy passing and a couple of mistakes made it a nail biting tie. Unlucky to Boro and Blackman (keeper) who played very well but the way liverpool are playing at the moment I am not holding much hope for anything this season.

Best of luck in the championship, I am sure it will be a least a play off spot but the way your team is playing at the mo coming of a 4-1 win then it could be more but I think Boro might take some time getting over this cup tie after battling so well for 120 minutes.

you could be right but we have a decent squad this season and we rested six players tonight I am not making excuse's as I know Liverpool rested seven players so none of us had our best 11 on the pitch tonight but it just shows we now have strength in depth that we haven't had for years so I have a lot of confidence in this team but as they say in football you are only as good as your last match

Talking of Forest, they definitely got 5-8m's worth of striker in Britt Assombalonga. The kid will be scoring in the Premier League next season even if it isn't in a Forest shirt.

I'm a fan and would love to see him in a Spurs shirt. You could argue that those goals were in L1 and Champ/Prem defenders won't back off him as much, but he knows where the goal is. 8 in 7 for Forest really hasn't surprised me.
