New season, new thread and a change of fortune for Spurs! Things have been grim for as long as I've been on AAE-C, but I've got a good feeling about this season.

Pochettino is the man and the World Cup convinced me that Utd did us a favour by pinching van Gaal. If Poch gets Lamela playing, we'll fly.

I know there is an art to not losing knockout matches in tournaments, but the Dutch sent me to sleep a couple of times.

Had Soton not conceded as many goals from wining positions as they did, they'd have been a lot higher up the table. If Poch plays the same style with Spurs, he'll have the second best sweeper keeper in the world rather than Boruc and Vertonghen, Chiriches, Kaboul and Walker who are far better than anything he had at his disposal last season. Well in their positions anyway, Shaw would have walked into our team.
