Can anyone help with this please, my OH has had this since Feb and it's always been a great little device but this week it suddenly seems to be losing power. There hasn't been any recent change of liquid as he's a creature of habit and always smokes the same one. It has to be the unit because I've tried lots of different tanks on it and struggle to get a decent vape on any of them. Also tried a brand new battery and I've cleaned all of his contacts up with Isopropyl Alcohol but it hasn't made any difference. It's still working but he has to chug hard to get a vape. I'd be grateful for any advice as this thing is like an extension to his right arm and much loved by him

Might be worth trying to ease the pin in the 510 up a little there is a small chance that could be the problem.

I've done all of that and no joy Maybe it could be the switch then but we wouldn't have a clue what to do there lol.

Have you tried a new coil in whatever atomiser you are using? Yes, I tried new coils DiscoDes It's most likely to be the connector, they are sprung adjusted and the positive wire is simply soldered to the bottom. Continual screwing on of atties causes the pin to turn and eventually the solder starts to give and it cracks causing a partial connection till it finally breaks off. If you can get the top cap off ( it's press fitted very tight) then it's a simple re-solder.

And if that isn't something you or your OH can do yourselves autumntwist32, it would be an incredibly simple job for Mr ronaldo. Even if blakey 's suggestion isn't the problem, Ronaldo will probably be able to fix it.

Thanks guys We'll have a go and see if we can get the top cap off as OH has a soldering iron, if we don't have any joy then hopefully Ronaldo can help. Any tips on how to get the top cap off as it seems really tight

put tape around a pair of mole grips put a T towel in a vice wrap something around a pair of water pump plyers it depends on what tools you have to grip it but you must wrap something around the tool to prevent damage
