dalealanI have read that the Aerotank has popped a few DNA30 chips, due to spring loaded 510 connector.
How does that happen... curious, any links
edit: just checked and clone aerotank I ordered from fasttech ain't spring loaded... guessing that's a good thing then!
personally, I wouldnt recommend using an Aerotank, after reading posts on it.
Hi guys got a hana dna30 in a trade kept it at 8 watts then attached aerotank to it with new coils. Didn't press any buttons. It started smoking now smells burnt. Not sure what version it is. It isn't reading volts and not producing vapour. Pretty gutted as only got it today. Is it beyond repair do you think?
Jack B Watts Will post photo of inside asap
Gavin Jones i heard some versions were frying when an aero tank was attached, worked fine on mine though. ive got the Fasttech one with seem across the top
Steven Greenwood Aerotank mega?
Wayne Socrates Stones Doesn't sound good mate there was a warning not to use the mega on them
Steven Greenwood I use mine with the mega no issues.
Steven Greenwood Used it 3 days solid with the stock 2 ohm dual at 15w
Jack B Watts Normal aerotank.
Wayne Socrates Stones Newer versions are fine with the aerotank since they fixed the problem but older versions it fries the chip!
Jack B Watts So i'm screwed then. Picture is here.

Wayne Socrates Stones It's not just the mega that caused shorts the warning was for all aerotanks

Wayne Socrates Stones There's plenty that wish the same mate I bought mine from someone who fitted the mega and it fried straight away! So I've fitted a genuine evolv chip now its all good

Jack B Watts How much to fit an evolv chip? Could you sort this out if I send it to you? Or am I better off buying a cloupor?

Steven Greenwood Wayne Socrates Stones what's the £ to fix just if mine decides to dump on me?
15 July at 23:21 · Like
Wayne Socrates Stones It's £40 for the chip and £20 fitting but for the price of a cloupor you get what I like to call a genuclone clone body with genuine evolv chip

Conal Louis Hendry Wayne Socrates Stones has a blue Cloupor body with a real evolv chip in.... That used to be mine... Same thing happened to me Jack B Watts.. I put the mega on it and before I'd even vaped it fried. Wayne made me a great offer for the body.. But then I used the mega on the newer versions with no problem.. But still I'm never putting a mega on a Cloupor again... Taifun all the way now.
