@the Mod Destroyer I never thought you and ronaldo could be equally mischievous. When I find out how to do this I will get my own back (in the nicest possible way)

You are spoilt for choice, despite being a couple of counties further north thank is truly desirable.
To the West you have Exmoor and the delights Dulverton, Woolacombe, Porlock and a fantastic stretch of costal path (Minehead to Coombe Martin).
To the East you have Shapwick Heath (Nature Reserve) and Glastonbury (beyond Tea / Coffee you will find the New Age Tourist market rather expensive but worthy of visiting none-the-less) - for a great inexpensive dinner, I heartedly recommend The Cannards Well just on the outskirts of Shepton Mallett on the A37 (we discovered this by accident a couple of weeks back). Heading upwards there is Bath.
To the South there be Exeter - go to the older parts of the centre, especially the Cathedral
I think I've largely been repeating the above.

My actual favourite place in that area is Bossington www.exmoorian.co.uk/bossington.htmYou can walk a cliff path that takes you quite far, looking out to sea, not a good description, I will find pics.

Thanks guys... we really are spoilt for choice... unfortunately, we will only be there for 4 days, so may not get a chance to fit it all in, particularly if we get stuck into some scrumpy! lol... as sammy13 said, we'd need to be there for a year to cover even half of it! lol... can't wait now

I have been going there for many years and still want to do things, sometimes it is snowing, raining, mega hot , sometimes you want to get back to nature, sometimes you want to get pissed at one of their many festivals, never enough time.

And Longleat if you fancy having monkeys climb all over your car & ripping everything off it:D
