Sorry re saying about the mental age issue as in the past on other forums when I have bought autism up it has been easier to describe skye ( my little gremlin) that way to get a point across as you'd be surprised how many people deny autism even exists . You are totally correct in the way skye is very advanced in some areas particially technology (that is her thing). She loves music and one of her favourites is the 1812 ovature. She also loves james arthur , Nickle back and stomp. She also likes one direction but we don't talk about that ( washes keyboard after typing their name) . Every day she amazes me in some way. When she was born at 25 weeks we were told she had a 4% chance of survival, it has been a constant battle to get her to where she is today and without the incredible school she is at and the amazing teachers she has I honestly don't think we would have coped. We have challenges everyday with her however together we overcome them somehow and she is stronger for that. Aplogies igual, my last reply was to a tag, so I missed your posts. Peter, a neighbours son is Autistic & another neighbours grandson is (highly functioning) autistic. Peter, who Iknow the best, never ceases to amaze me.

I couldn't give a **** that he's fitter than him crap, and can run or cycle faster, or drive a car faster... who cares. Give me someone that makes me laugh, think about myself and the world, and entertains me in this bl**dy depressing world!

I've never been competitive Raffles (well apart from wanting to make this forum the best ) so maybe that's why I'm not interested in sport & maybe the same for you & others?

Chrissie... I'm competitive in as much as I like to do my best at whatever I attempt. But sporting wise, I'm afraid I have the utmost contempt... the rewards are ridiculous... footballers, tennis players, golfers etc are beyond the pale. Bring it back to sport, the competition, the 'friendly' rivalry... not the mega bucks shite it is now.

After all they are lucky enough to play a game for a living. Can think of a better way to spend £100+ than taking my son to a football match (swimming and a wii game for him, nemesis for me, and some beer change).

I thought Doctors got paid a fair bit, about 100k for a GP and those that save lives, well a bit more than that. Oh yes and the Teachers started their 6 week holidays today, the one whose house I was in today was just about to trim his 10 ft hedge, I'd say he gets paid a fair amount as well.

No they are not chrissie, but if people like ronaldo keep giving them the money then they pass it on to get the best, who are still crap if we are talking England, If Germany then at the moment they are probably worth their sky high wages.

Most teachers get paid in the 30-35k range. Not that much for what actually amounts t0 45+hour weeks, endless stress and hassle from inspectors, heads and the muppetry(sorry, government) not to mention the number of difficult kids they come across day to day. To me this sounds more deserving of a high wage than kicking a football and pretending that they've been shot. (Is it me or is football starting too look like the WWE, all that playacting and match fixing)
