Hi Everyone plus a question!

Hi All! great forum this, I never even knew they had Vaping forums, looking at some of the kit you guys have I'm still not sure if you pull the pin and throw them or just beat your enemies to death with them,, I've been (sorry was) a smoker for the last 50 or more years, yes I'm a old fart but my brain still thinks it's 21, at my peak I was on 60 a day but I stopped for 5 years and when I started again I managed to keep it at around 20ish, my problem was I actually loved smoking, anyway around 8 weeks ago I suddenly decided I didn't like the aftertaste of cigs and rollies, the smell of ashtrays and the it leaves in general, plus my Dr keeps going on at me to stop, but he does that even if I pop in to pick up a prescription, funny that as I often see him outside having a puff, plus the wife being a none smokers now she goes on and on and on about my smoking, anyway I thought I'd give the E/cigs a try thinking they would be rubbish, still open on that one as the few people I know that have them either say the are great or they are c**p, but while in my local QD store I saw they were doing the KIK kit for £7.99 so bought one plus some tobacco juice at £1.99 for 10ml, thinking if it's rubbish all I've lost was the price of a packet of cigs, first few puffs nearly blew my head of as I bought the 24mg juice, not knowing it came in different strengths, but to my surprise I actually liked it, my mouth didn't look of taste like the bottom of a bird cage and no nasty whiffs, I mellowed the strong tobacco on down a bit by mixing it with a 24mg cherry one, not bad at least it didn't rip the back of my throat out now, then a friend gave me a bottle of the Hangsen tobacco one that supposed to be like B&H cigs and I've been using that since, I have tried different brands but I find the Hangsen ones suit my taste,  then Woo Hooo! someone tells me there's an E/cig shop opened in Lowestoft, off I go, come back with allsorts of bits, new clearomisers, battery's, replaceable heads, my old ones were throw away type, had a test run of some flavoured juices, and to my surprise I loved them, even tried menthol and liked it and I hated menthol, I'm still trying flavoured and have gone of the tobacco ones, so any advice on the flavoured ones or mixes is welcome, anyways I've been 8 weeks without a cig now and love it, I don't feel like a leper or outcast now not that it ever bothered me anyway, I've had a few people ask me what I had in my mouth and after explaining they are going to give it a try, I know I have two converts so it's all good, I did get headaches a few days after I stopped the cigs but put it down to the heat, came here today and found out the real cause so been drinking more water, I don't like the taste of water so hope I don't come back as a goldfish in my next life, anyway just like to thank everyone for all the info I've found on here even though I don't understand half of it yet, Oh yes! the question!

I buy the ready made juices and like the Hangsen Strawberry and the Menthol ones, but I only like a hint of Menthol, do you think if I mixed a 30ml Strawberry with 10ml Menthol that would be a good mix, I did see a Mint one and also wondered if that would be a better mix with Strawberry,,

Congrats on the 2 months mowjo
If you want to try a few different flavours Joose Juice sells 10ml testers for £1.49 a pop, so you can pick up quite a few different flavours quite cheaply (my fave is the Caramel Blend...)
If you want to try mixing your strawberry and menthol, try small quantities first, don't mix the whole 30ml or it will be a waste if you hate it!

and yes, you can mix together flavors -- just mix a small batch in together to work out what percentage of each flavor suits you best!

I believe 'hellfire' and 'crab juice' have been reported to improve brain capacity (YouTube is your friend here  )

If you don't like water, I find a good pint (or several) of snakebite is a good substitute (or any fluid, really!)

Fred! if that's true I need about a litre of each, this site has killed what brain I had left, but I just worked out that in the 8 weeks I've stopped smoking I've save £406 even with all my new vaping stuff plus juices I don't think I've spent £100 in 8 weeks, though looking at this site I can see it's going to cost me a lot more, I love shiny bits and I see lots here,
I have been trying Jack Daniels and Jim Beam instead of water but for some odd reason my mouth won't work and I keep falling over,

Ahh, thats the impurity of US whiskey. Switch to Scottish whisky and you'll be fine.

Also, try mr ecig if you want to try some new flavours. £1.50/10ml wnt break the bank and will give you an idea of flavours you enjoy. They stock the hangsen juices you use already, and dekang. Also juicejoose make dome damn nice juices as ppl said above.

Like they say, don't mix large amounts to begin with - not 30ml and 10ml, just do 3ml and 1ml. I reckon you are going to be mixing from scratch before you are through, so you might as well get yourself a syringe or two to do the measuring, and some bottles if you haven't got any empties. I got mine from the Alchemists Cupboard but that was yonks ago and there may be cheaper places now.
