My next door neighbour is a mum of 5. 4 of them under the age of 10. She seems to have 2 modes when "speaking" to the kids... Yelling and screaching, with lots of profanities thrown in. The sad thing is, when I chat to her, she's really nice, but her constant screaming and swearing at the kids makes me want to both punch her lights out and cry.

All you that like it quiet should come and live near me, it's like a bloomin morgue. If anyone even tries to have fun they call the police. There was a festival, food , drink and music a couple of weekends ago, at 7pm my neighbours were out gossiping, what time does it end/ it's too loud, it shouldn't be allowed, you could just about tell what the song was , and it was local bands singing for charity. They need to start living life, they will get to their end thinking what did I do with my life - oh yeah I watched corra 3 times a week, sad, very sad.

You'd have LOVED it when I was in my old punk band - our guitarists garage (well his mum & dads garage really). I was the drummer, and we had a song called "The Audience Can F*** Off" which was just wall to wall swearing. The power to the garage was constantly being switched off when we played that one

Well what do you expect in an old peoples home The old peoples home I go to 3 times a week actually has more life. Take them to the pub and get em tipsy every week, plus the play darts, Frisbee, skittles - I kid you not. There is a fun day coming up, the main event is racing grannies. True

What with these balmy Summer evenings, and we've all got our doors and windows open... and then... The one across the road is prancing around in nothing but shorts, on his mobile speaking as loud as he can... no, not a mega millions deal, just his next courier job. Then 10 mins later he starts up his Harley Davidson for a spin in the country, having scared the sh*t out me by doing so. Now another is mowing his grass with a Formula 1 engine in his mower. Don't get me wrong, I'm very lucky with my neighbours but there are times... especially on Summer evenings like this! i feel your pain, my neighbours are a lovely elderly couple that would help anyone out but he is hard of hearing and has the TV so darn loud especially in this weather with the windows open i can't hear myself think grrrr

Get over here they are all numb anyhow, they wouldn't notice what you did with them. Get up at 6am, watch news, have brekkie, go for a paper, potter around, have a light lunch, sleep in their chair, wake up, put news on, have tea, watch all soaps go to bed.

ha ha, i went to stay on an Island off the Isles of Scilly back in the early 80's the toilet was at the bottom of the garden there were NO cars one pub one shop you could walk the entire island in under 2 hours if you walked slow and you got there by helicoptor and then boat to the beech then tractor to the cottage, you only had electric certain times, the milk was warm straight from the cow literally, but we had the Best Holiday Ever there and i would love to go back but am to old for the rough and tumble these days

Anyone going there or living there though I presume wants that kind of lifestyle, what gets me is where I live there are loads of pubs, social clubs, and 2 schools that I know of yet my immediate neighbours seem to want to live in the middle of nowhere.
I don't use a tv, if I did, because I am not in bed by 10pm they would complain
