Out of date Nicotine base

Just found some nicotine base that I had forgotten about and it's six months past it's use by date. Any ideas of how to dispose of it safely? 
I suppose pouring it into a bowl and adding boiling water would do the trick, but am not sure.

I would mix a little and vape it to check (normally PG base which is well known anti-bacterial) as it may be fine and just a bit weaker.

I was wondering the same, if I ever gave it all up what could I do with the nic base.

Figured same as you, once diluted lots it can't be that bad so I'd pour it behind shed once diluted.

If it is OK and you don't want PIF, don't know how to dispose of it.

according to link nic base is only considered harmful waste if over 3% strength. Dilute and dispose.

I'd be bining almost my entire stocks of Nicotine Base if I went by the use by date Gasper . . . how has it been stored?

If it doesn't smell off, I'd be using it - it will be natural for it to have changed colour, if you haven't frozen it.

The best way to dispose of it would be to add some more PG/VG & some flavouring. Put it in an atomiser and watch it go up in a cloud of vapour.

He should wrap it in bubble wrap, then brown paper, stick a stamp on it and send it to me!

I could then safely dispose of it, like you suggested.

A sound alternative imo.

As far as I am aware the only thing that could happen is the nicotine degrades. It wouldn't become toxic or anything like that unless it was already contaminated.

If you don't want to vape it ... stick it in your shed and use it as an insecticide

A little of it in one of those hand held plant sprayers with a couple of drops of fairy liquid will see off the pests on your plants

Used to use the concentrated version years ago before it was banned works a treat !!!!

But tbh would try vaping it first .... as said above you will know within the first couple of toots if it has went off .. If it tastes ok mix up the rest and use it pronto

Ive used base a lot further out of date than that. If it tastes ok its grand....mind ive also passed it on rather than waste it

Problem is it would probably get rid of the cat too .... better to stick to plan A ... Vaping or plants
