I'm thinking (only thinking mind you) about trying mixing. I've read the threads, well most of them, and looked at various vendors, and am quite liking the idea of a kit type to start with. I appreciate this isn't the cheapest way to start, but there are so many blummin vendors out there, all with different prices, it'd take me hours to put together the basics, and loads in postage! So, is this a good idea or totally daft? And would it be worth just maybe buying a premixed nic base to simply add flavour to, although this does seem more expensive. As with all things vape related, there is almost too much choice and I find I read one thing, move onto the next and forget what I've just read! Any and all ideas gratefully received (well mixology related anyhow ) thank you peeps

Mixing is dead easy, you just have to take that leap of faith. I'd buy all your ingredients separately as this will give you more flexibility as you advance. Start simple with single flavour concentrates such as joose juice and tjuice. All you need is flavour, nic base, vg, pg, some empty bottles and syringes of different sizes. Finally a mixing calculator free on this forum, oh and lots of friendly mixers on herd to help you along once your ready to go

A kit is convenient . . . although a more costly way in the long run. But if it helps give you or anyone the confidence to further progress a Mixing career, then it's all good I reckon sleedale. Personally I'd avoid a pre-mix base ( although others like them ) not just from the cost point, but your options are limited . . . as you can't always be sure of adding a set amount of flavour to achieve your desired nicotine strength. Much better and more flexible, to go for a higher strength base.

sleedale, if you want to get everything together, go for one of the kits, but I would recommend getting high nic content base (54 or 72mg) as it's much more economical and allows you much more flexibility. Greg is right, it's more cost effective in the long run to get all of your ingredients seperately, but to get you going, go for one of the kits and just get replacements as and when you need them... VG from Boots, PG from eBay, etc... As far as concentrates go, get a few you like the sound of from whichever vendor you get your kit from to start with, then you can look at adding to them over time... Amazon have some great deals on Cupcake World concentrates. And most importantly, don't stress about mixing... if you can follow a recipe, you can mix and it's actually fun Remember we're all here to help you and there are loads of really nice recipes on the mixology board I agree with Perpetua! ^^^^

Separates without a doubt, maybe more expensive for the first purchase but you get your money back on future purchases.

Thank you Greg, lairey, Perpetua and Super-Shiny, all very helpful advice, and the mixing guide is fab. Simple and straightforward. I think I'll start a little list of things I need and where I want to get them, if I write it down first, it'll make more sense than just trying to order stuff randomly on the net! I have managed to save some bottles, and we have gloves! Don't ask! And ecigdepot? seems to have a good deal on 72 nic base? Seems to be separates then? Heck. Thought I'd decided on a simple kit. But I'm more than happy to take advice from great peeps on here. Gosh, first coils.......now juice just as an aside......last week for no apparent reason, I went for a few days thinking I really wanted a stinkie......but I didn't cave in, just carried on vaping and thought of all the lovely help, advice and support from here, and the random craving went away. I NEVER thought I would not smoke. I enjoyed it (or so I thought) but I MUCH prefer vaping. It's much more fun and interesting

Those bottles are showing as 50 x 5ml for £0.01, or 50 x 10ml for £0.01, or 30 x 30ml for £0.01 with £2.00 postage. That has to be the bargain of the century?
