Or put another way, I've got the telly back after a fortnight without. Have hummed and ahhed, trying to find an aerial installer on Yellow Pages that wasn't going to rip me off, because there's plenty of them. Anyway a conversation with a colleague and he recommended someone local that he knew and bingo, he came around today (I thought just for a quote) but he installed a new one on a mast that gets above the trees and bushes, and I can now get all Freeview channels perfectly, and at a fair price. Now to catch up on Heartbeat, Darling Buds Of May, Bergerac etc.

Apart from checking the news occasionally to see if the world is still spinning, I prefer ITV3 and the Drama channels as they remind me of happier days. Seen them all many times, but I never bore of them, especially Heartbeat with the music from the 60s.

Can't believe I've put up with such crap reception for years... now watching 'The Sweeney' on ITV4 (couldn't get the station before). Oh, happy days.

Great news Raffles - we've just started re-watching the Morse series, and my wife loves 'Keeping Up Appearances' too. Certainly saves on buying boxed sets and hiring DVDs. Glad to hear that you are back in 7th Heaven and enjoying the TV again
