Increasing the nicotine level will not increase the vapour production. I just want to have a try that if i vape up slowly and see can i cut down or be addicted in that level. Will you be trying a similar experiment with heroin, or something similar, just to see if you become addicted? ??? If you vape at 0mg, I personally think it is a really stupid idea to increase - you will become ANTZ best friend. Which means you will lose friends here!

Was on 24mg this time last year. Down to 2mg now and have cut my daily puffs from 600 to 150. When I started mixing in October I dropped to 18mg the cut it by 1 or 2mg per month, forgot I was doing it really. After vapefest going to try 0mg, then I think the psychological addiction will be the hardest to kick. We all have "busy" hand syndrome, so I'll have to replace it with something else. Might try a yo-yo or cats cradles.

fred is right, jackiewsm - increasing the nicotine level will not make any difference to the amount of vapour. I've added your location to your profile for you so that other members realise that English isn't your first language. I'm 6 years in & still on 24mg - as I was a very heavy smoker, I've not even tried to cut down the nicotine content.

If you want to do it that way jackiewsm, then do it. There's no right or wrong here. It's not a stupid idea at all. And if you "lose friends here", doubtful though that may be, I'm sure you'll cope. To answer the post. Hat's off to those who reduce their habit. Mine's engraved after decades of heavy smoking. I work so can't vape all day. 24mg keeps the cigs at bay, and that's where I will stay.

So you think starting, (possibly as a non-ex-smoker?), at 0mg, and increasing the nic level to see if you become addicted is a good idea? That's what the OP has stated they are doing!

You see I don't work hence my nic/ml level is 7mg/ml but I'm sure if I did it would be higher...
There is no right or wrong with nic/ml level. It's not the important factor. Basic facts. E-cigs are healthier than normal cigarettes and yet you still get all of the pleasure and the nicotine you would from smoking normal cigarettes without the nasty health affects
Ignore anyone who tells you different. E-cigs are not NRT as in designed to get you off nicotine. Nicotine is no more harmful than caffeine

fred, I think that people should be free to do what they want if it causes no harm to others. You are reacting exactly like the anti vaoing lobby. Using the word stupid isn't acceptable.

Hi jackiewsm, if you want more vapour try more VG based juices as this will give you more vapour, as increasing the Nic isn't going to do anything as regards the vapour.

Started 18mg, have obtained / been given a few juices at 24 and 16mg. mostly 18 but now mixing I'm at 12mg. No particular reason other than it will make my nic base go a bit further lol. i have no intention of quitting vaping or nicotine altogether.

Down from 18mg to 12mg, new mixes are at 9mg and will start being used in about a month.

started on 24mg 3 months ago went to 18 then to 12 found that wasn't hitting the spot so went back up to 18 but found that gave me headaches though so went back down to 12 but it's not quite enough i need somewhere between 18 and 12 i think, although the headaches might be the weather though i was a heavy smoker so thought my body would need the higher amount of nicotine but it doesn't only now and then do i get real bad cravings for nicotine,
have been vaping 18 this morning with no ill effects, it's when i vape it all day i get a headache in the evening, so maybe 18mg in the morning and 12 at night? Am only 3 months in have no intention of giving up nicotine despite my parents nagging, they nagged about smoking now and were supportive of the e cig now they are telling me i don't want to stay on them, well actually I do i enjoy it, still i don't seem them that often not as much as maybe I should,
would like to get down to around 6-12 and stay on that.
