I'm at 7mg/ml ....have been there since april All my attempts to get down to 0 last year ended in tears So no point lowering it any further Was a lot higher than that a few years ago and then got a spheroid.....nic/ml dropped over night rapidly.. With so much good quality kit to be had for peanuts compared to a few years ago there is no reason why 10/11mg shouldn't be satisfactory (or less) for vapers after a few months

Hi guys, Just interested in how people are slowly weaning themselves off nicotine. Has anyone used E Cigarettes to totally quit? If so how did you do it. Do you move slowly down in nicotine over time? What I did was - started off on medium strength .... after a couple of days, mixed medium with low ..... after another couple of days, just used Low ... now I'm on mostly zero nic, no higher than 6mg mixed in and that's only to use up the juices I have that are 6mg. I'm sure it was the actual habit of smoking that I was addicted to more than the nicotine.

I'm sure it was the actual habit of smoking that I was addicted to more than the nicotine. I think that's true for many of us Spiritdancer . . . the hand to mouth action, seeing the vapour created certainly helps fool my brain into thinking it's still smoking. My mixes are anything from 10 - 20(ish)mg, the higher strengths tend to be for when I've less opportunity to vape. It's never been my plan to reduce/give up nicotine completely, I'm content to not be smoking and buying cigarettes.

I've been dropping nic, mainly so could vape more though!
Started vaping last November 18mg Wasn't enough so used 24mg for few weeks then back to 18mg. Guess I was at 12mg by mid December, at first didn't find it enough but had bought a lot of samples from joosejuice so persevered.
Then started mixing and slowly dropped down, most dramatically with drippers, sometimes use 0mg but usually 3.6mg.
Did have a blip around wedding with stress went back up to 14.4mg for month n a bit. But back to usual now.
0mg just doesn't cut it for long, I start to get on edge after hour or so, but could for night when vape more.
My plan is to get to 0mg more or less full time, just to lose the need for nic, but will still vape, and if it doesn't happen I'm not too bothered.
