Hi all, wondering how they compare?
Off the menthol, some may of noticed in some of my posts, but missing it.
Thinking if trying koolada conc to replace coolness but how does it compare? Worth a try?
Cheers Rich

From using it its not minty its more an additive to add a cold sensation. If your missing menthol try something like blackjacks ice is blackjack with koolada added.

Menthol on it's own, I always find it to be a bit rough round the edges. Koolada defiantly gives it an added coolness.
A mix I've used a while now is: Homemade menthol 7% - Koolada 2% - peppermint 2% - Ethyl Maltol 2%(EM takes off the rough edges of the menthol, for me anyhow and adds a hint of sweetness). Also, swap the peppermint for lemon and that is a nice refreshing change.

Koolada as igual says is a flavourless additive . . . don't think it has quite the hit of Menthol boyofford, but it's certainly worth a try as it works well with many fruit flavours also. The Menthol mix I concoct for friends, has Peppermint and Spearmint in it, the Spearmint adds some sweet smoothness - maybe you could try a combination of them with some Koolada to replace your Menthol fix?

I'm hesitant to get peppermint or spearmint concs, do they have menthol in anyhow? I'll get some of that ethyl Maltol stuff too stonethecrows, might be good with some stuff just to sweeten a touch.
