I have made up 570ml of base mix 50 PG-50 VG @ 9.5mg with the view of adding 5% flavor that will bring the nicotine level down to 9mg.
Would I be right in thinking that if I add say upto 15% flavour to that 570ml mix, that I would have to add a further 10% nicotine to bring the level back to 9mg?

What happens if you need more than 15/20%, or less even of a flavour . . . . seems like a heck of a lot of unnecessary faffing to me Bez. And you've made up such a large volume as well. ???

I know, beginners mistake i guess. I shouldn't have made up such a large amount. I worked on the basis that the flavourart concentrate I have is mixed at 5% but now I want to try out the T-Juices flavours that need 15-20% mix.

Thanks makes a heap of sense now adjusting in 10ml quantities. I have ordered a 26 - 1ml sample pack of T-Juices so I will be able to try a larger range of juices without having to spend a load of money on the normal 10ml bottles.

Most eliquid mixing calculators allow for you to type in PG/VG ratio of nic base, including one in this forum I'm pretty sure.
If put what you've made as base it will work out what you need to add....though you'll need to guess at lower nic required so it works I suppose. Let us know if you try this n get confused, maybe I can figure it out, like a puzzle like this lol.
I've done same as you when know I'm going to do a load of similar mixes, handy if all same or very similar % conc and your not bothered if vg-pg ratio and nic is slightly out.
Edit: just reread your post and realised I'd missed the point of what you were trying to do....mix to get same nic.

Bez - for future reference, I would be inclined to mix your base to order, i.e. only mix what you need. If your recipes require differing amounts of flavouring concentrate, you simply use the Calculator top right of each page and input the statistics for a recipe which you can save for future reference. This get around the quite considerable difference between 5% and 20% concentrate required, and means your mixing will actually take less time than figuring out how much nicotine to add to get the desired percentages! Still, shouldn't take too long to vape your way through 570ml of base

Now I want to try the T-Juices out and they need higher mix levels than my flavourart. In the future I will only mix 30ml at a time once I vaped through my 570ml.

It can be fixed, but what I tend to do is use an easy formula and stick near enough to it, I mix 30mls at a time, 50/50pgvg, 12mg nic, from 72mg pg nic base, and it works like this, I always start with nic and for my mix it's 5ml nic, 5ml pg, 5ml concentrate, then 15ml vg , works out at just under 20% flavour, these numbers are easy to remember, saves lots of faffing, find your own easy formula then you won't make any mistakes
