I know Des, really tears at the heart strings, bless him . . . but animals do have the most amazing capacity to deal with disabilities that would take a human years to accommodate. There was a programme not long ago, The Bionic Vet who is doing the most incredible pioneering surgery on animals. One of his patients, a kitty, had had all four paws completely severed by a combine harvester whilst he snoozed in a field somewhere. This Vet, implanted metal rods into the bone stumps and once they had been accepted, then attached 4 little feet to the rods. Within moments, the kitty was bounding around as if they were his natural paws . . . fantastic to see.

I'm guessing he is blind due to cat flu? Such a lovely video & I'm so glad he has found loving owners . My Joshua is deaf & he has amazingly learnt a lot of hand signals
