Give it to Jane @johanino? My sensible answer . . . ronaldo, knows the ins and outs of a Vamo's bottom.

right the short answer is wrap some rubber tape around the top to stop it from getting damaged put the vamo top in a vice tighten vise tight enough to hold it but not to crush it with the vamo pointing upside down push vamo backwards and forwards slowly only half a inch maximum you will feel when it comes loose normally 3 or four wiggles remove from vice remove black ball of foam look behind the board you will see I half round plastic pipe remove that and everything will fall out of vamo do all of this over a bowl to catch all loose parts
good luck but it is really easy once you give it a go

Unscrew the top cap cover. Take the extension tube and screw on in place of top cap cover. Now VERY CAREFULLY, I'll say it again, VERY CAREFULLY, wiggle the extension tube and top cap loose from the body. If you are overzealous, you'll have to solder some wires back on. Now you've got the top cap hanging by 2 wires, hopefully. Now, there's probably a load of hot glue in there - remove it, if its in the way, or move it out the way. There is a semicircular bit of plastic sleeve on the opposite side from the LCD. You need to slide it out, using tweezers, screwdriver, etc. I think I scored/drilled a notch I to it and levered it out with a small screwdriver. Probably a bit more hot glue holding stuff in place - slide the PCB out, and the screen and buttons should come out easy. ETA: crossed posts with ronaldo, but between the 2, you get the idea. Just be careful, or you'll have to solder the wires back on

2 replies and they both work I keep forgetting that the vamo uses the same thread all the way through it and it is a good one for people without a vice I have a tube built into my bench at work for it

the silicone seal I fitted for you should last a long time but you have a choice of two ways
if you have a soldering iron gently lift the firing pin just keep lifting slowly until it comes out of the top you will see the white wire put a pair of self locking tweezers on the wire if you don't have any they are about a pound on e-bay unsolder the wire remove silicone and replace then refit pin
or lift pin don't touch silicone fit a 4mm X 1mm o ring over firing pin and push pin back down
eigher way only push pin down a couple of threads let your attey push pin into place properly
