It's true Greg, I thought the original Provari was complicated when I first got it, I can't think why now. Rather like the scrolling lights, very natty. It's only got one button, how complicated can that be So have men . . . but I wouldn't call them as a species simple.

The only plus side to me, is that it'll make all the 2nd hand Provari's cheaper...............

Well I like it and the feature set looks good, 20watts at 0.7 ohms is good enough for me. There will be the initial clamour for these and it will soon become apparent if there are any inherent faults, however I think hat Provape are probably up amongst the top manufacturers and it is extremely unlikely that there will be any major flaws from the get-go. I like the boost facility I like the flat top I like that you could use it as as hybrid I like that you get all tubes to take the batteries The menu looks good I like the finish & styling I like that it now takes flat top batteries I do hope that the boost circuitry is better than the V2 that I have as it eats batteries So a from me. All good for me - especially the ability to take any 18xxx battery including flat tops - just hope they don't over do it pricewise

Did someone say boost? Lovely. Chocolate, caramel and biscuit. Better than a savoury wrap. Only 1,450 calories in a bar. (should be illegal...)

I suspect this is going to be in the region of £250+ , especially as the current standard 2.5 STARTS at £175.
One thing that I really DO like is the removable 510 connection , I can't really see Provari changing every atty manufacturers connection with their new one ( P3 connection ) , even though Provari claim their connection can handle 10 x the torque of a 510 connection.Having said that I think we all agree we need a replacement for the 510.
Andy
No the inner is still bog standard 510 but if you do damage the 510 threads you just buy a new insert, probably for about £30
The thread that the inner 510 connection is connected to is what Provari are calling the P3 connection , which Phil said would be good for a hybrid , and a big step up in thread capability if their torque is believed and there is no reason why it shouldn't. To many devices suffer from thread failure and a change from the 510 to something stronger can only be a good thing.

Dont care how good a battery holder is it aint worth £200 + to me, its not a matter of can I afford it or not its percieved value. All that aside it does look like a very well made device! At that money its aboot the price of 7 MVP 2's . . . . . . . . . . . . . so for that reason . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm out !

5 amp limit why wouldnt they push it to 10 and would open up the market for them, i know they dont need to cause they make plenty of money as it is but why dont they push themselfs to make somthing more i dunno just more better. if this was from innokin or somthing people would just go meh looks ok, but its a provari so its surounded in ore and majesty, when if you take away the provape branding and this and that its out dated technology really, not saying there is anything wrong with that but its like haway give us somthing worth dropping 200+ quid on not just your reputation and quality. but still will be a quality bit of kit no doubt
