Changing nic level in bought juice?

I've got some bottles of juice I'm not over keen on, all at 6mg which would be fine for me, but I'd like to donate them to son and his partner if they like them, but they'd need higher nic.

so, for 10ml, how do I work out how to get from 6mg to 18mg using 72mg nic base (not too worried about changing the pg/VG, or changing the flavour slightly, just don't want to poison them!)

8.25ml of your juice and 1.75ml of nic base will give you 10ml at 17.55

Add 1.67 ml of 72mg nic to 10ml of juice.

To add 12mg to 10ml you would have to add 1.7ml of 72mg nic base... but that would affect the flavour a fair bit i think... ???

sleedale, if you're not worried about the flavour then use the Nic Combine tool in Ejuice me up.

If you add 2ml of 72 mg nic base it gives 12ml of 17mg juice.

2.2 ml of base gives 17.9mg if you're precious about getting it exact.

Thank you - I'll have to go look for that, I've never seen it. And I'm not going to be worried about exact, just need to increase the nic for new(ish) vapers

Ahhhhh, DiscoDes just found out why I've never seen the Nic combine tool......I use an iPad or Apple Mac! Can't get to e juice me up

Thank you Perpetua, it does work on the iPad and helps to change the nic level in bought liquid, so I don't overdo it! I can make up a few 10ml bottles of flavours for them now. It's very helpful,

Hi all,I have a question,is it possible to reduce the nicotine in bought juice,I have been given some 24mg and am using 18 and 12mg,so could someone please advise me thanks x

Hi kathy62 in a nutshell yes it is either by buying some lower nic or nic free juice of the same flavour or by adding pg and/or vg. The second option would decrease the flavour though and amounts to add would depend on your preferred pg/vg ratio.

@johanino, thank you for that........for most of the time it's not a problem, there's usually a way round it, and I did mange to work out how much nic to add........hopefully it'll be vapeable, I've not tried it, toooooo strong for me.

Do what I do, put them i cupboard, will find use later, 2 years on discover them, open smell, then pour down sink, works for me lol.

Not a lot of help I know lol, but you have got a spare empty bottle to refill and go back to begining.

Kathy! All I do is if it's 10 ml of 24mg, is get a 10ml bottle of the same flavour in 6 or 12 MG and just mix the two together, I think it dilutes the Nic content a bit but keep the PG and VG the same, Don't know if it's right but it works for me and I'm using up all my 24mg juice, I find the 24mg juice give me too much of a sting in the throat, I've not had that since I started doing it,,
