Wanted dead Riva batteries

Anyone got any dead Riva batteries they are willing to sell or donate? (p&p) paid of course.

That so called mate of mine pinhead has now given me the bug to try a mod for myself (why do I listen to him) >

How would anyone know if the batteries were dead?

They don't tend to hold their charge for very long Hissie . . . mine last about 2 months before they 'die'.

Me again folks,

further to the original post I'm after any non working riva battery's as I want to see if I can:

a) get the button out?
b) re-use the button on the mod I'm going to attempt to build.............

I know we have spoken via personal message but thought it only right I thank you publicly so as not to appear rude to anyone reading this thread.....

Perpetua has kindly donated a battery which I hope to dismantle ???

But could still do with any others out there that may be cluttering up your draws

No doubt ruin the first one working out how to get it apart, unless anyone has already done this? and can offer a novice some assistance? ??? ??? ???

If mod works I plan to post step by step photo guide for you to try

I can get it apart for you... but I'd only be interested in the connector and would trash the circuitry with my trusty dremel (and I know you want the switch as well)!

Once you've got one Geoff, we'll get it into work and dismantle it. It'll probably get killed but we'll have an idea of how it's laid out inside... if you only get one battery though - that's a different ballgame!

I still think if I'm careful I may be able to get it open without a dremel?

Mandy has sent me one, but your quite right until the first one is open I'm not going to know any weak areas and may damage what I hope to re-use
