Hello New Friends,
Seeking advice from those with more experience.
I am a Police Officer with a penchant for vapeing. It's great for work as I no longer smell and I can vape on my way to jobs, it's lush.
However there is a fly in my ointment. I am running pro tank mini 2s on ego t batteries which is fine untill one of my customers decides to kick off or take me on a jaunt through town via back gardens and over fences.
The practical upshot of this is my beloved kit breaks, the top the battery comes lose and being uber safety conscious this means I have to get a new one.
What I am looking for is an uber solid battery (copper proof please!) possibly with protection for the tank as well which takes tanks which can be rewicked and recoiled relatively easily. I think the shape is an issue. I'd like something squat and heavy. Weight is not an issue. What I'm looking for is durability and resilience.
Thanks guys.

Put your current setup in a £shop glasses case But if you're really after something new, my sentinel and kayfun clone combo withstands almost anything I throw at it.

The kanger aerotank range all come with ss tanks, and recoiling/wicking is relatively simple Battery wise I'm thinking the vtr even though I've never even held one and I have no idea which of the aforementioned tanks would fit

Innokin VTR and Kanger Aerotank V2 is a solid kit, picture of it here with the aerotank (the one on the left)

I love it. 'customer' is a great desciption.
All I can suggest is either the VTR (fantastic in combo with an aerotank), or a clone DNA30 if you can get hold of one.

As an ex police officer (retired) if you have the same utility belt you can get a mini torch pouch that will clip on from eBay for a couple of quid

I hope your customer is charge with assault & battery.
Sorry first thing that entered brain.
VTR haven't got one but I believe they are a tough nut to crack.

Never held a VTR, but I thought my MVP was solid as a rock, but the VTR is just its bigger and stronger brother, basically the MVP on some crazy type of steroids. I'd say that would be right down your alley

Also, most mainstream tanks (for lack of a better word) have different accessory options, most of them offering a replacement metal sleeve to either cover the glass, or to replace the glass. Pair this with something as solid as a VTR and you've got a toppa little soldier with ya

I'm a maintenance engineer, so my mod takes a beating... this (+ a 10ml bottle of juice) is my every day carry.... Solid, compact, survives life in my toolbelt... almost nothing to go wrong as long as you make sure the locking ring is secure. A single sony vtc5 should easily last you a shift. (and if you don't like brass you can get the same in stainless) EDIT: if you are going to get into mech's, make sure you do your homework re: battery safety and ohms law
